There is no need for a dual carriageway here. All it does in encourage speeding just where the most people cross due to station entrance. One solution would be to make both left hand lanes into bus lanes. This would enable the eastbound bus stop to be sited next to the station. Also allow pedestrians to cross anywhere, which they do anyway whether safe or not, and use raised paving to encourage traffic to slow down.

This is a great crossing, well placed to help with pedestrians accessing shops but also linking cycle routes which avoid major traffic arteries. Light sequence favours pedestrians. More like this needed on this stretch of road. No other crossing until lights at crossroads where Honor Oak Park crosses Stondon.

The roads to the west of the tracks are no more suitable for through traffic then those to the east. There should be emergency only access barriers in this area in a similar fashion to Gabriel/Garthorne/Bovill Roads etc

Car repair garages tend to park all of their unregulated vehicles along the street.

Lobby for more bus links. There are only P routes and areas locally with poor links and many who park and ride to use station. Extension to 63 route is one obvious choice.
