Local Implementation Plan Consultation is now live

https://consultation.lewisham.gov.uk/planning/lip/

Update!

It’s been 3 months since the Lewisham Streets Survey closed with a total of just over 11000 contributions to the map.

The response to the survey took us a bit by surprise but just goes to show how much you all care about the streets and open spaces you live, work and study in!

We have used the initial responses to shape the borough new Transport Strategy called ‘The Local Implementation Plan’ or LIP for short. This strategy details, at a strategic level how we intend to deliver the 3 key themes the Mayor of London want to see in London as a whole. These Themes are:

1. Healthy Streets and healthy people

2. A good public transport experience

3. New homes and jobs

Public Consultation

We are pleased to announce Lewisham’s new Local Implementation Plan is now out for public consultation from the 12th October running for 6 weeks, Follow the link below to respond to the consultation. Within it is an opportunity to identify your local neighbourhood for improvements

LIP Consultation

We will continue to use the commonplace map to shape the individual projects moving forward. The map is currently closed to contributions and will remain so while the LIP is being finalised. Once this has been done (Early 2019) we will re-launch the commonplace map to comments, so watch this space!
